another african joy (or ANTics)
UPDATE: I pulled out my computer before going to bed and as I opened the screen up...... literally a SWARM of little black ants ran out of the keyboard and screen. I have no clue why, because I didn't find ants anywhere else. It really wasn't what I normally expect when I open up my laptop, but then again, I guess I'm in Africa.

That is because, as Austin Huff has suggested, you are in the game Jumanji.
i think mac makes some kind of ant-eater widget for that.
1.) I laughed out loud at that first comment up there about Austin and Jumanji.
2.) I love that one of your favorite parts of Crystal Skull was the swarm of man-eating ants, so God decides to give you the gift of real ants.
3.) I also love imagining this happening to any random guy in America, like Tyler, sitting in Bongo Java. Pulls out his laptop and the whole scene from Crystal Skull plays out.
You must have spilled some sugar or crumbs down in the keyboard. Even African ants don't go for electrical components...they will probably return and there's really no way to clean the keyboard or spray it, so I guess you've made new little friends.
Corrie Ten Boom had an ant for a friend when she was in prison camp. She used to save the crumbs from her bread rations. I think she was really lonely in her cell, and even an ant helped break the haunting aloneness that she felt.

Hey, it's me, Garrett from America. I'm gonna try to hang out with some friends that I graduated with from Brentwood High School. If you want to join, I would love to see you. It's been SO long since I've seen you. How is Missouri? Are you still playing football there? Boy, they had a great team this past year, I was impressed! What's your major? Since we talked, I've transferred back home to Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville and am majoring in Sports Management.
